Dan Jamati, PGA Golf Professional
Dan Jamati has been a golf coach for more than 25 years and is a member in good standing of the PGA of America. His tremendous passion for the game and great understanding of people has allowed him to create a fun and relaxed learning environment for his students.
Dan was Director of Instruction for the Palo Alto Golf Course for 8 years, where he developed teaching programs and clinics for golfers of every age and experience level. As a Palo Alto native, he is strongly committed to supporting the local adult and youth programs.
Dan’s desire to grow his understanding of the game has led him to various PGA seminars where he has been able to learn from, and develop personal relationships with top coaches and influencers in the game. However, Dan finds that his most invaluable education still comes from the hands-on coaching of students of all skill levels and ages.
Dan’s philosophy is to bring out the Natural swing which he believes exists in every golfer. Together with each student a fun and safe learning environment is created to build awareness in vital areas of the golf swing. The ultimate goal in each lesson is that the student builds their own awareness, leading to self learning, self trust, and leaves with a better ability to coach themselves.

Roger Pineda, Golf Professional & Coach
Phone: 650.773.1114
Email: pinedaroger64@gmail.com
Private Instruction Rate: $220 per hour
Top-ranked California golf instructor Roger Pineda has helped golfers elevate their game at every level—from seasoned professionals and elite amateurs to aspiring juniors and recreational players.
A Northern California native, Roger began his teaching career in 2000 at Mariners Point under the tutelage of the Jim McLean Golf Academy. His dedication and success quickly led to advanced training and a leadership role as Director of Instruction at the San Bruno Golf Center.
In addition to his work with the McLean Golf Academy, Roger has had the opportunity to learn from and observe many of the game’s leading instructors, whose influence has helped shape his teaching philosophy. These include Dana Dahlquist, Bryan Lebedevitch, Brady Riggs, Alex Murray, and Joby Ross.
Roger’s extensive coaching experience includes helping develop Hannah O’Sullivan from a junior golfer into the #1 ranked amateur in the world (WAGR). During that time, she won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and competed in multiple LPGA Major Championships.
He has also coached numerous junior golfers who have earned collegiate golf scholarships and gone on to compete at universities such as Duke, Santa Clara University, Princeton, Harvard, Lehigh, and many others. Roger currently works with Graham Martin, one of California’s top-ranked junior golfers, who recently committed to the United States Naval Academy. He continues to develop future champions competing in AJGA, NCGA, FCG, and elite amateur tours.
Roger’s junior instruction emphasizes long-term development, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for the game. Lessons incorporate high-speed video analysis, launch monitor data, structured practice plans, and age-appropriate drills for both full swing and short game. Just as importantly, Roger creates a positive and motivating environment that builds confidence, discipline, and competitive readiness.
As a proud father of two daughters who both earned Division I golf scholarships, Roger understands the junior golf journey from both a coach’s and a parent’s perspective. His goal is not only to help juniors improve their scores, but to prepare them for success in tournament golf, college recruitment, and life beyond the course.
Outside of golf, Roger is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking, skiing, mountain biking, and—of course—playing golf. Most importantly, he values time with his family.
